Program Overview

Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application (PGDCA) programme is one year (two semesters) Post Graduate Programme based on Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) in regular mode under Dibrugarh University. The aim of this programme is to prepare graduate students for productive careers in software industry. This programme aims to develop highly skilled computer professionals in a short period of time. The programme emphasizes the application of software technology and job-oriented courses relevant to the latest computer software development.

Objectives

• This course will provide sound and practical knowledge in various theoretical and application-oriented courses that are pertinent to the latest technological trends and software developments. 
• After pursuing this programme, the student can start working as a programmer or a web developer in a software company where he/she will be responsible for designing and developing application software for small businesses.
• The students can start taking small software development projects as a freelancer.

Eligibility:

Any Bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 (three) years duration from a recognized university.
