The Workshop held in two Sessions.Session-1(Intellectual property rights) and Session-2 (Manuscripts Preservation). Resource Person has enriched our students with his knowledge. He has elaborated the meaning and importance of intellectual property rights. Also he has discussed the types of Patent, Trademarks, Copyrights and trade secrets. He has given knowledge on how patent can be done, how copyrights covers ‘tangible’ forms of creations and original work, how trade secret work to protect their formulas or strategies. In the second session he has discussed about the Manuscripts preservation and its importance. He has also incorporated about the problems of Manuscripts that is –Mishandling, Pest and other Vermin, Humidity, Dust and pollution, Light, Fire, Water etc. After that he has shown the ways that is Preservation and Conservation Techniques of Manuscripts.
